Autobiography
Before I started gymnastics I used to do dancing. I studied ballet, tap and stage dance but the dancing didn't really work out for me so I decided to try gymnasts. The reason I really started gymnastics was because my friend at school did it, so I decided to give it a go.
I started gymnastics when I was 7 years old at Bigwood Gymnastics Club and I trained every Saturday morning however this soon increased to 3 sessions a week. I was placed 3 rd at my first regional competition and that's when I decided to move to Notts Gym Club. Once I moved to Notts the training soon increased again and I now train 30+ hours a week.
I won my first British title when I was 12 years old and I competed in my first International when I was 13. From then on I have had some amazing experiences which include going to the Commonwealth Games, European Championships and World Championships. I would love to add the Olympic Games to that collection of memories as well.
Outside the gym I love going to theme parks, shopping, spending time with my family and having fun with my mates just like any other normal kid. When I am older I am not quite sure what I want to do yet, but I defiantly want to stay involved with gymnastics because it is such a huge part of my life.
